Dwarf elephants on the Greek Islands?

Have you ever heard of these? I never had until today.

We're talking about adult elephants four feet tall!

Apparently they became dwarves because they were isolated on the islands for very long periods.

Unfortunately they're all extinct.

Here are some links about several species of dwarf Mediterranean elephant:

Even when aliens come to earth there will be some people that will find it amazing!

No*se*se can be impressive... Report It

Reply:Yes, I know...they are on the island of Tilos in the Dodecanese! The museum is excellent, you can see a skeleton from one of those elephants and there are very detailed explanations! A highly recommended museum!

Don't forget to buy a chicken at the friendly butcher shop near the port whilst you are there! The monastery, especially the road to it, is pretty amazing too! Great island!!!
