Old cartoon help?

I remember this cartoon from my childhood, but can't remember what it is called.


It starts with a little family of squirrels, and the grandparent is telling a story to two little children squirrels. And the person is telling the story of World War II, but seen from the squirrels eyes, and how "they" had "big black feet (boots)" and "noses like elephants (gas masks)". They used to play it around christmas time each year, but I haven't seen it in years. No one I know even remembers this, but it has stuck in my mind for years. Any help in the right direction would be great. Thanks!!
