At body temparature bacteria double in number every 20 minutes or so. ! hour would increase the bac-t count by about 8 times. You must have a lot of extra bacteria in your head phones.
In any case, wearing ear phones can cause you ears to produce more cerumen (ear wax) which protects you from infections and can block your ear canal and perhaps cause you to turn up your volume.
